What's up with this?

I may be just a back sliding Methodist -- but I don't think I'm ready for a political sloganeering POPE!   He is not a scientist, a politician, nor a meteorologist... I think he ought to stick to counting his gold chalices and stay out of provenances beyond his ken!!!
