Today is Columbus Day!!! A day to celebrate our American History.....

Except of course............. in that liberal bastion of blinker wearing Dims, Seattle, Washington. Where today is now officially designated as "Indigenous Peoples" day. 

My problem with that foolishness is obvious - first of all - Who are the indigenous people of North America? The Seminoles in deepest Florida? They must have crossed the straits from far Eastern Russia long before the late comers-- the Apaches of the Southwest... and certainly before the later arrivals, the Chinookan or Skokomish tribes of Washington State!

Since we have to believe that none of these Americans came out of the slime, so to speak, we must assume that they immigrated here.... from somewhere.... Same for the Aleuts in Alaska and North Western Canada. 

Poor ole' Chris Columbus however, will ever be besmirched because he is a Caucasian European.... and as you know --- that just ain't cool nowadays. So he can't be given credit for having the courage to cross the ocean blue... no no!

If you doubt my comments about Caucasian Europeans being rated second class in our list of welcome immigrants today -- look at the current Immigration laws and quotas since the McCain-Kennedy Immigration Bill. You have a better chance for an immigration visa into the USA as a one legged, unschooled African or unskilled, no support Central American, than you would as a skilled, educated citizen of Europe!!

Go figure ---  And to Christopher Columbus, I say - 'SALUTE!' E "GRAZIE"

(And lest you liberals believe that your humble host is unaware of some of old Chris' shortcomings....  I am not!  And y'all can just go buy a bed or something and think kind things about Indigenous people - if you can identify and define them)
