Texas hit the long ball yesterday.....

.... in our Republican primary, we fought hard battle and we won. Texans nominated Ted Cruz as the Republican nominee to replace the retiring nice, but moderate, Kaye Baily Hutchinson who is retiring. More to the point, even though he started off as a severe underdog to our moderately conservative Republican Lt Gob'nor, he won handily!

Not by himself of course. He had a lot of help from his friends, namely the Tea Party Express, Sarah Palin and a whole passel of tea party volunteers and supporters.

Two of them are Ron & Kay Rivoli, a fantastic singing couple, who traveled around the Lone Start State to attend the hundreds of gatherings... here is a sample of their original works performed at these rallies....... Bless their hearts. They'll getcher' toes tapping!
