Of all the strange news stories I've been following this last couple of days, I am enjoying this one the most.
A Chicago gun 'buy-back' program that pays $100 Visa Debit card for each weapon and even $10 for each BB gun turned in gave $6.240 in gift cards to the Champaign Illinois group, "Guns Save Life" in exchange for some really old, really rusty relics....
The 'Guns Save Life' group is an NRA sponsored group that runs a shooting camp for kids and teaches them how to shoot as well as gun safety! They will put the money to good use to buy ammo for their summer shooting camp program.
