When is a 'JEEP' not a jeep?

When it's something else!!!

Everybody is familiar with the JEEP name. It is tied forever to that perfect example of American ingenuity and engineering that created the easily shippable, repairable, go anywhere vehicle of World War Two.

In my early days in the military, new recruits or trainees were called 'JEEPS' because of the greenness of both their new fatigue uniforms and their very basic skills...

Now the name JEEP has become an acronym for a new US taxpayer funded program named 'Job Enabling English Proficiency' program. Get it? "JEEP"! Clever 'eh?

Sounds warm and fuzzy like a program to help new immigrants learn English rapidly to fit into the American job force? Wrong!!!

Nope - this JEEP program is a program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to ............ (sit down now and put away and sharp or heavy objects).......to train Philippine workers to speak English sufficient to man call centers...... that are being outsourced from the USA!!

Yep, Obamanation speaks publicly about insourcing jobs, while at the same time, his administration is using our workers tax dollars to train foreign workers in foreign countries to operate the call centers being outsourced from the USA to find cheaper labor......

You might want to read that last sentence again! According to NY Representative Bishop (Dem), over 500,000 call center jobs formerly in the US have been outsourced in the last four years.

As if that wasn't fast enough --- now our gob'mint is gonna spend our money to speed the process... 199 days till November 6th Citizens. Mark you calendars and call a friend....
