Based on fuel and other operating expenses for his Air Force plane, the 27 weekend trips home of Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta has cost the government as much as $860,000.
What's that number you ask? Why that's how much we have paid to fly Dim Hack Leo Panetta to fly back and forth to his home when he needs;
"Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said Monday he regrets the cost to taxpayers for his weekend trips to his Carmel Valley home, but says it's important "just to get your mind straight and your perspective straight."
It's a good number to keep in mind, $860,000 ...... when you read and hear about the GSA tax payer paid boondoggle in Las Vegas...... scandalous price --- $850.000!!!
