Addressing hisself as 'Your Commander-in-Chief', several times, His BO-ness yesterday spoke to the 10th Mountain Division at Ft Drum:
"First time I saw 10th Mountain Division, you guys were in southern Iraq. When I went back to visit Afghanistan, you guys were the first ones there. I had the great honor of seeing some of you because a comrade of yours, Jared Monti, was the first person who I was able to award the Medal of Honor to who actually came back and wasn’t receiving it posthumously."
White House..... er uh, we have a problem! Sgt First Class Jared Monti was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2006. He was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor by then POTUS, Obamanation in 2009.
The first living recipient of the Iraq/Afghan campaigns to win the Medal of Honor, SSgt Sal Giunta received it from BO this year 2011~~~
Imagine the firestorm in the national media if 'W' made such a cold, uncaring gaffe! Our TVs would be in meltdown!!!
You can be sure that the Military Blogs across the Nation have picked up on it and shared the insult and the fury................
Oh, by the way - he finished his little group insult with these words, "Know that your Commander-in-Chief has your back."
At least Bubba Clinton & Hellary were honest about their dislike for the military - they didn't pretend to admire them while hiding their distaste. This guy in the Oval Office now is the worst of all worlds .......... and words!
