Is "Happy Labor Day" now an oxymoron?

Seems like I read the other day that 1 out of every 6 Americans now get some kind of dependency check from the Gob'mints. I add that number to the 16 Million currently unemployed, the twenty Million underemployed, the 30 Million employed by local, state, and federal gob'mints.

And then I scratch my ole head and wonder out loud, 'What exactly are we celebrating on Labor Day - the only folks that seem to have real jobs and are working are mattress salesmen and illegal immigrants!!!
