Fly those flags high tomorrow folks..... and when you do...

Give a little thought to those brave and wondrous 56 Forefathers of ours who risked their families, their personal wealth and their lives when they signed that Declaration of Independence. Some went on to high office, many died in poverty after having their property seized and destroyed.

But they all stood tall on the Fourth Day of July, 1776!! And everything we are in this Democratic Republic, the last greatest hope for the world, we owe to them!!And while you got that thinking cap on Friends, try to name 56 elected officials now serving in Washington D.C. that would sign such a document under such trying circumstances. If you think of even one, post a comment, 'cause I damn sure can't.......
