Dang it, I wish I hadn't cancelled my subscription to Newsweek 15 years ago!

'Cause if I hadn't cancelled it back when it became the unofficial in-house weekly magazine for the Democratic National Party..... I could CANCEL IT NOW!!!

Independent’s Day

Obama doesn't want to look back, but Attorney General Eric Holder may probe Bush-era torture anyway.
By Daniel Klaidman | NEWSWEEK

I just read the sorriest four page article about AG Eric Holder, and his pitiful ruminations, in this weeks on-line issue that I have ever read. It read like a chapter in one of those breast baring and breast beating pulp fiction paper backs of yore. Oh my!

And just like one of those cheap paperbacks, it ends with the Attorney General of the United States, so torn by indecision, that even though he heads a department of 110,000 folks, he 'secluded himself in his office for two days to read a report ............ twice!' And then we leave him as he is standing alone..... staring out of his office window at Constitution Avenue meditating. Oh the pain of it all.....

Like I said - I sure am sorry you can only cancel a subscription once!!!!
