When you are reading your Sunday morning papers, or watching the week-end talking heads (aka 'pundits') I'd like you to look for any of the following three items.
1. Any reference to Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick's being a Dimocrat when discussing his being thrown in jail. The man is Vice Chairman of the National Council of Dimocrat Mayors. but I have yet to see any of the main stream media mention his party affiliation.
Kinda flies in the face of last weekend's headline story where every report started off with "longest serving Republican Senator indicted on several counts". Not convicted mind you, just indicted.
2. Any mention of former NJ Dimocrat state senator and former Dimocrat mayor of Newark, James Sharpe, being sentenced to more than two years in jail last week. The judge not only didn't call for restitution of the over $600K that Sharpe swindled his own city out of in a real estate deal with his mistress - he all but apologised for sentencing him to any time at all.
2. Any reference to one term Democrat senator, failed Dimocrat VP candidate and failed presidential nomination Dimocrat candidate John Edwards and his alleged 'love child'. Hell, I'll make it easier --- any mention of John Edwards at all.....
Let's see now, if it was even hinted that Romney or Huckabee had such an affair --- Whee doggies, talk about 24-7! Remember the front page story in the NY Times about the hint of an affair between McCain and some staffer a few months ago? When disproven -- oh never mind.
So there you have it Pardners! Keep your eyes peeled, your powder dry and remain alert!! Good luck and good hunting.........
