Saved at Last - Saved at Last......

........Good God Almighty - Our children are to be saved at last!!!!!

Ole' Pecoz was so pleased to discover this weekend that the United States Congress it's own self, the Senate and the House of Representatives --- are so concerned about the well being of our children that they are going to legislate .......... (are you ready for this?) .... what foods can be served and sold on the school campus's across our land!

Forget the fact that folks eat grits in the South, Home fries in the North, Tofu in La-La Land... and Hash browns in Gods Country --- these beltway teat suckin' bandito's are gonna decide what your young'ns are gonna eat!

Yes Moms and Dads, no longer need you worry about what your children might be accessing in those evil machines.... your congress is gonna step in and ban unhealthy foods!

In a $286 Billion dollar farm subsidy bill they are gonna step up and bite the bullet (or chocolate milk rule) as it were.... Oh 'scuse me, Chocolate milk is okay -- they got lobbyists, as well as a few other vendors. Hmmmmm?

Now this here Congress is the same one that can't pass laws protecting our borders, funding our troops, or stopping the advance of international Islamic-Fascism into our country ---- but, but, but by God they can stop your kids from sneakin' a twinkie during school lunch break.

Senator Teddy Kennedy - spokesman for Buffalo Wings and good health, along with the super health jock Representative from the 8th District of New York, Jerrold Nadler will probably co-chair this Lean legislation........

Thanksgiving may be gone Pilgrims, but bow your head and offer up thanks that these two health patriots and their 533 brethren will bare their breasts (as it were) to save your children!

Now just in case you think Ole' Pecoz is pullin' your leg - it's in the New York Times --- and they ain't never wrong!!! At least that's what they say!
