Moveon dot Pooped!!!

There is an old expression that pre-dates MRE"s (meals ready to eat) in the lexicon of the military. Paraphrased a little so Ole' Pecoz don't offend the sensibilities of some readers, it is simply: "He done pooped in his mess kit!". Translated into civilian speak, it means quite literally that one should not foul one's own nest, nor defecate into those vessels from which we gain our daily sustenance. The army mess kit was carried 24/7 by infantry soldiers, kept meticulously clean and was as close to back home dinner china as a troop in the field was apt to find.

The limousine liberals (now better defined by Gorebot as Lear Jet Liberals) always try to bad mouth our military out of the left side of their mouth while heaping praise out of the right side. That was obviously the plan for these congressional hearings this week. Heap faint praise on General Petraeus while skewering President Bush and the Department of Defense through him.

Alas! Moveon.org, the power behind the Democrats, didn't read the cliff notes and did a bad thing by running a full page ad in the New York Times (Democrat party's in house newspaper) defining the good man as "General Betrayus" You've all heard and seen it by now.

The inner sanctums of the elite leaders of the blue state libs, after their initial euphoria, have to be livid after thinking about this overnight. Do you reckon there is any English reading citizen in this country that:

A. Didn't think this was over the top?

B. Didn't see it as the Demo's game plan?

C. Didn't wince at it's in your face bluntness?

D. Didn't think it was a slap in the face of all our military sons and daughters?

E. All of the above?

Might I humbly suggest that the next time Moveon and it's fellow travelers want to run a full page ad.... they run something like this............?
