In an attempt to separate herself even further from her vote to go to war in Iraq, she has repeatedly asked Cheney for "the Pentagon's plan for withdrawing from Iraq". He of course has refused, opining that if such a plan existed, making it public would only bring aid and comfort to our enemies and cause demonstrable morale problems for our troops on the ground. She is now in the process of elevating the level of this pathetic discourse. Again, the word unfortunately fits this space.

If not so serious, this transparent exercise in sucking up to the far left wing of the Democrat party would be merely disconcerting. However - it is much more serious than that!
