I don't know whether to file this in my "Stupid is as stupid does" file or my John Wayne Famous quotes file: "Life is tough, and if you are stupid, it's even tougher!"

But today's 'Stupid crook' story comes from downtown Beaverton, Oregon.....

Yesterday afternoon, a 22 year-old mush head walked into a gun store, Discount Gun Sales.  He brandished a baseball bat, and a knife. 

He walked up to the glass display case and with his bat, smashed the glass and grabbed for a gun. So now he's standing there with a baseball bat, a knife, and an unloaded handgun with a safety lock on it.  The manager immediately drew his loaded, unlocked handgun, ordered the air-brained thief to drop everything and held him at gunpoint until the police came and arrested him.

Duh!!  Is stupidity a legal defense in Beaverton? A lot of libs there!
