On Wednesday I shared the story 'Whipsawed' down below regarding the Shirley Sherrod story. Apparently, just like the hidden ACORN stories, and now the drip drip of the Journolist's releases, the Sherrod story is gonna keep on giving.
The Washington Examiner posted a great story regarding Miss Shirley and her exploit(tation) of USDA....

We are about to enter the 'Summer News Doldrums' inside the Beltway..... this is that period when no new news is being created so the media pokes around in the nooks and crannies to find reportable stories. A look back in history reflects some of the biggest political stories were either first reported, or fully investigated and exposed during this summer recess, as in that little Watergate thing.
There sure is a whole passel of fodder for this year's investigative reporters Treasure Hunt! Shirley Sherrod, the Journolist follies, the re-opening ACORN scandals and law breaking are just the more obvious ones... Stay tuned!!
