Age limits anyone???

We will probably never get term limits imposed on our Representatives and Senators in congress because......................  such limits would have to be voted on and imposed by......... (drum roll)  Congress!!

Ain't nebber gonna hoppen, GI!

Maybe we could live with age limits...  A quarter of the American population is between 25 and 39 years old......   twenty years younger than the average age in that Senior Citizens workplace we call congress....

Yeppers, the average age in the House of Representatives is 57 and in the Senate - 63 years of age...    Heck, those two young fellers in the picture -- Johnny Mac is 78 years old and Carl Levin is 80!  They should both be taking naps by the pool of one of their many houses every afternoon -- not napping in their Senate offices.....

Hells bells, we have lady that wants to run for POTUS in 2016 and she'll be 69 before she takes the oath --- she fell down, bumped her head and had a concussion just a year or so ago --- (when were those Benghazi hearings again?)

I'm not even gonna mention the life time appointees on the various Federal court benches --- that's beyond my ken!

When our forefathers invented the Congress, they saw it as an up or out training camp...... two terms and you either move up into a higher political office or you got out of politics altogether and got a real job.

You din't sit at your desk and drool while all your young interns and aides did the job you were hired by the voters to do.... they weren't elected by anybody!

So what do you think - across the board age limits for elected officials and federal judges --- or bid'ness as usual.................zzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!

What do you think?
