"A TALE OF TWO TURKEYS!"

Who said our ancestors sailed the ocean blue and suffered the slings and arrows of creating this colony we call USA to escape the royalty of King George and King Louis??

On Wednesday (Thanksgiving Eve) our American version of King Louie and his consort, Michelle Antoinette took their limousine and a myriad of police escort SUV's to a humble place in Washington called the Bread City.  A pantry for the poor peasants of the land. 

As His Oneness handed out plastic bags of sweet potatoes, Michelle Antoinette handed turnips to the poor and hungry. (I kid you not) The royal princesses were also in attendance -- a learning experience I reckon. And a photo op for the royals...

Then yesterday, dining with family, the Royal Family dined in the White House and for their Thanksgiving Dinner --- made do with:

Dinner
Thyme Roasted Turkey
Honey-Baked Ham
Cornbread Stuffing
Oyster Stuffing
Braised Winter Greens
Macaroni and Cheese
Sweet Potato Gratin
Mashed Potatoes
Green Bean Casserole
Dinner Rolls

............and for desert -their choices were limited to a mere SIX KINDS OF PIE!
