Dear Diary, I survived both the Mayan Calendar prediction of the end of the world and Obamanation's prediction of the same thing over "Sequester"!!

Well well, I woke up this morning, 'Sequestration Day', 2013.... and the sun still rose in the east, my electricity is still on, water is coming out of the faucets.

I open Drudge and discover, that AG Holder admits he might have over spoke about loss of safety, Sec of Ed admits he might have exaggerated about closing schools, etc etc etc .... those thousands of criminal illegal aliens being released turned out to be a trickle of illegals without criminal records.

My My.......   now maybe (I doubt it but) just maybe, grown-ups in both parties will sit down and come to some agreements to how we can save the country from the 'draconian' cuts caused by only RAISING the budget 7.6% instead of 10%... which is what sequestration is all about.

Oh well... one can dream....

Note from Pecoz: I know I posted this a day early, official Sequester Day isn't until tomorrow, Friday, 1 March.... but I am in hopes that positive vibes will bring good results..

I'll be watching for that sunrise tomorrow!!
