Y'all remember the big battle just a couple of years ago to jam Obamacare down the throats of the Nation. The Dims even wheeled their non-walking wounded into the Senate to vote for this bill that nobody had seen yet.
Not a single Republican voted for it -- every single Dim did!!
Now here we are, 18 days before Day One of the start of the downfall of the Republic - and guess what --- 16.... count'em, sixteen Dimmocrat Senators have signed a letter requesting that the Obamacare 'Health Device' tax be postponed because it will cost jobs, money, shove companies out of the country and have no end of evil results...
Sixteen Democratic senators who voted for the Affordable Care Act are
asking that one of its fundraising mechanisms, a 2.3 percent tax on
medical devices scheduled to take effect January 1, be delayed. Echoing
arguments made by Republicans against Obamacare, the Democratic
senators say the levy will cost jobs — in a statement Monday, Sen. Al
Franken called it a “job-killing tax” — and also impair American
competitiveness in the medical device field.
The senators, who made the request in a letter
to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, are Franken, Richard Durbin,
Charles Schumer, Patty Murray, John Kerry, Kirsten Gillibrand, Amy
Klobuchar, Joseph Lieberman, Ben Nelson, Robert Casey, Debbie Stabenow,
Barbara Mikulski, Kay Hagan, Herb Kohl, Jeanne Shaheen, and Richard
Blumenthal. All voted for Obamacare.
Well Duh!! Imagine what else they might have voted against if they had read and studied the bill in the light of day instead of rushing it through in the dead of night......
