... and with disgust, disappointment, and nose droppings... that the British Department of Education & Skills has noted an increasing number of British schools that are dropping all teaching of the Holocaust from it's history lessons. This is being done, apparently, to avoid offending Muslim students. ???
They also, it seems, dropped any mention of the Crusades because British history is at odds with what is taught in local mosques.
I wonder what they teach about the ethnicity of the terrorist Lockerbie Bombing of Pan Am Flight 103? Just a bunch of fun loving atheists out on a lark?
What's next, British schools will delete WWII from their primers to make nice - nice to the Germans and Italians and not embarrass the French? The Rape of Nanking was just school yard pranks by bored Japanese soldiers?
Well heck, one good thing I reckon, British School kids might one day be taught that the 'Rebellion of 1776' was just an "Occupy Boston" sit in.... so they don't offend any Yanks visiting their country.
It's a sick sick world out there! By the way, Partners, getting back to the point, I thought the Germans perpetrated the 'holocaust'...... not the Muslims. What am I missing here?
