I wonder if Smith & Wesson and other gun manufacturers keep Chuck-You Schumer, Mayor Bloombie, that one trick pony Representative from Long Island, McCarthy, and the whole Washington Brady Bunch on their Christmas card list?
Every time one of our 300 Million citizens goes berserk and shoots someone, these usual suspects start shouting 'Ban Guns', 'Ban Guns'!!,,, and every time - just as predictable as the sun coming up -- retail gun sales sky rocket.
This week, after the Battyman shooting, these political drip pans toed their marks in front of the mikes on queue to shout their usual drivel .... and now it is reported in the NY Post that:
- gun sales in Colorado jumped 25 in one week, concealed carry class registrations are 'off the hook'.
- in uber liberal Seattle WA, license requests doubled to a 100% increase over the same period last year.
- and it continues, Florida up 14%, Oregon up 11% and in gun totin' Smyrna GA., one gun store increased it's volume by 300%!
Why, you ask? The owner said..... "customers are often afraid when there's a gun-related tragedy that some lawmakers might try and push through an anti-gun agenda." And then he added, ""We shouldn't let one sick individual make us forget and lose sight of freedoms in this country,"
On an unrelated topic, another headline I read stated that, "80% of all pain killers taken daily in the world are swallowed by Americans" or something like that. I was quite surprised until I thought about it.... hey, it's only us 300 million Americans that share that common pain in the arse in Washington!!
