There is a lot I am going to be saying about this chart for the next few weeks. It speaks volumes if you click on it and look at the fine print. That reddish dotted line at the top represents college tuition inflation in this country over the last ten years.
The other lines represent health care costs, food, clothes, communications.
But take a long hard look at that top line and ask yourself, "Why do our top politicians and Obamation feel the need to keep tapping Mr & Mrs America's tax dollars to support these rich and getting richer, tax avoiding colleges and universities?"
I can think of several off hand without breaking a sweat -- and I'll bet you can too!
For now let me leave you with this question: "If the federal gob'mint stopped giving grants, privileges, and over sized loans to students to pay their tuitions - and these colleges and universities had to compete for every hard earned (not borrowed) tuition dollar --- rather than just sort thru the trust fund and Pell Grant candidate applications, what would happen to the dotted line on this chart?"
