Time to declare victory?

None of y'all would be surprised to hear that I'm not a great fan of the current Narcissist in Charge of the Oval Office in Washington. But I do offer this open letter of advice with the best of intentions and hope that when his people are reading it this morning --- they'll take notes and pass it on to him.

Dear Mr President,

You were elected to office for a variety of reasons, not the least of which - was your promise to bring the troops home and end our everlasting commitment to these non-war, wars.

This week, Naval SEAL Team Six - provided the kinetic lethal energy by way of a Sig P28 double tap to Bin Laden's skull, necessary to send him to meet his promised 72 virgins. Ostensibly, ridding Afghanistan of the Taliban and getting Osama were the stated missions for our involvement in that country... Guess what --- Mission accomplished! Taliban hiding in the hills, UBL - deceased! That's two for two.....

Now let's Declare Victory and get the hell out of Dodge, while the smoke is clearing. Those tribes will be back fighting again by September 11th, but that's their problem - not ours. Not our troops, not our troop's families, not the American taxpayers.

Pull out -- now-- not two years from now. Wind down in Iraq and let them sink or swim on their own hook. And while you're at it --- tell NATO that no NATO member was attacked by Libya, so we are ending our commitment there as well.

In one fell swoop, twixt now and next years election - you could end three wars, two of which have been going on for ten years..... concentrate on the Homeland - open the oil wells, end the Ethanol fiasco - create jobs - balance the budget - and, and ----

You could not only skate into a second term but go down in the history books as one of the great ones - both at home and abroad -- not just another politician!

I realize that you went into that office as a Saul Alinsky 'made man' and probably thought earning a place in the history books next to him would be sufficient.... but now you've had a taste of what true leadership is all about --- maybe there is a higher calling......

Think about it....

Sincerely,

PecozBill
