In a recent article in American Thinker, Jerry Shenk points out that one out of every 15 applicants to Harvard were accepted as Freshmen this year, one in 12 at Princeton and one of every 9 at Dartmouth.
On the other hand, in Cleveland, Walmart had 6,000 applicants for a only 300 jobs -- one in 20 made the grade. A Walmart store in Chicago had 25,000 applicants!!
I wonder how many recent Ivy League grads, with $100,000 student loans hanging over their heads......... were among those who applied to Walmart?
