With the Century mark coming up on President Ronald Wilson Reagan's birthday, everybody seems to be piling on! Even the Dim Dems seem to have realized that RWR is going to be canonized, so they better co-opt him and his legacy as their own....
Everybody has their favorite quotes........ my favorites are those that reflect his sense of humor:
"I hope you're all Republicans." -speaking to surgeons as he entered the operating room following a 1981 assassination attempt.
"I have left orders to be awakened at any time in case of national emergency -- even if I'm in a Cabinet meeting."
"What does an actor know about politics?" -criticizing Ed Asner for opposing American foreign policy
............. and my favorite?
"I've noticed that everyone who is for abortion has already been born."
It will be interesting to watch just how far the Dimmocrats will go to cloak Reagan in their mantle. I have already heard one Dim comment on 'How many Obama characteristics Reagan had'!!! Give me a break ---
