#20 Sheriff Dipstick muzzled by prosecutors

It seems the prosecutors in Arizona have finally caught on to what conservativ
es have said for days. Dipstick is giving the defense free advice and undermining the investigation against Loughner. Now he's finally being forced to put a stop to it.
"Until further notice, due to a controversy between the Sheriff's Department and the County Attorney's office, no further information reference the January 8, 2011 shooting will be released."
Maybe this little gem played a role in it...
"I've spent all my day dealing with the media as I did yesterday, so I really haven't had an opportunity today to get into that kind of detail."
So the county sheriff put in direct charge of the crime scene admits on national news that he's so obsessed with media attention he hasn't even made the time to review new evidence. And for defense attorneys everywhere, there was much rejoicing. Mission accomplished, Markos Moulitsas.
