Washington will be a safer place!

I don't know about you Pilgrims, but yours truly is most at ease when we have partisan gridlock inside the Beltway. I sit back confident that they are collectively smart enough to act on those items serious enough to demand immediate action, but divided enough to spend the rest of their time arm wrestling and posturing for their respective constituencies.

And I reckon I save money and damage to my country when they are arm wrestling with each other instead of working together twisting all of our arms and emptying our wallets.

Happiness is a warm puppy, a glass of warm milk, and a Congress with different parties running each of the two houses.
