Y'all are probably as tired of talking politics as I am....

.... so I am not going to repeat what a zillion other blogs are saying today --

I have spent the morning looking hither and yon for the story behind the stories... A few of my random thoughts: Did anybody notice that BO's Senate seat, which he held all those (both) years, went to a (gasp) Republican. California and New York --(sea to shining sea?) now have gone completely 'Blue'.Governor, Legislative bodies, and both Senators. I have mixed emotions about that circumstance - because I although I feel their good citizens deserve what they sew, I 'spect a few of us Red states are gonna be gaining even more transplants of people, jobs, traffic and population woes as many now will vote with their feet. I note that the evil racist Tea Partying Republicans just added several Hispanic, Indian, Black, Asian and other ethnic minorities to their rising stars list. And finally (for now), why are these results described as the votes of 'angry Americans' and the 2008 results described as the votes of good Americans concerned about their country and looking for hope and change......? just wondrin' out loud..... Oh and final finally, it took some digging, but I noted that Pete Stark, that arrogant Dem from California's 13th district who told a constituent at a town hall meeting that he wouldn't pee down his leg 'cause he wouldn't waste his urine (national TV) was reelected by a 3 to 1 margin. Says a lot about those folks............
