Here we go again.... 'Tis the season...

For denigrating 'Christmas" in our 'winter holiday'! Apparently a small German Village near city hall in Philadelphia sets up each year. It is comprised of small wooden booths that sell Christmas goods and Christmas Trees.

Alas, this year, at the demand of the manager, the silver welcoming sign just reads 'Village', not "Christmas Village". He's had complaints he said.

An ongoing vote (I'll link you) allows folks to vote on this change..... Right now the vote is 5634 (94%) in favor of Christmas Village, 397 (6%) against that name. I reckon they win, but this leaves me with a bigger question than just the name......

If folks are offended by the word, name or thought of Christmas, what in perflunking tarnation would they be hanging around there for anyway? It serves one specific purpose - to provide Christmassy stuff to Chritmassy people in the Christmassy spirit -- for crying out loud!!

How dumb is this world getting?

Click here for Wednesday's update - apparently they are getting the message!
