Forward to the past......

Dear Readers,

I am probably the last guy on the Internet to re-discover GQ (Gentleman's Quarterly) thru it's E-Zine on the Internet. The GQ Magazine of my youth being of course, a glossy men's style magazine that used to lay around Japanese tailor shops and the occasional coffee table.. Kind of a men's Cosmos..... er something.

Over the years, I would espy an article or a quote -- purporting that GQ had evolved into more than pictures of suits that: A. I could never afford, and, B. That I could never wear like their male models do. Suffering the same kind of self-hate that I suppose women suffer when picking up Vogue or Vague or whatever..

However I recently tip toed thru some links to a couple of GQ articles and viola!, it has grown in content, structure - and broads.

It takes about 3 nano-seconds to determine it's political bent. But like most conservatives, I have learned to live with that in our 'lamestream media'.

I can usually thumb thru the E-zines of Newsweek, Time, etc in mere minutes, but checking into GQ I find, can absorb me for a period of time.....

I'd link you to it here - but if you can't find "GQ.com", you probably wouldn't enjoy it anyway!

Pecozbill

p.s. or BTW, their clothes are still priced way above my pay grade.....
