Humor from my youth == comes to life!!

When I was a lad one of the more popular (and risque) pre-teen jokes went like this:

A young boy rabbit and a young girl rabbit were chased down into their rabbit hole by a hungry fox. The terrified young girl rabbit huddled closed to the little boy rabbit and cried, "Oh my, what shall we do?" The young boy rabbit replied, with a gleam in his eye and smile on his face, "Don't worry sweetie, we'll just stay down here until we outnumber him!"

Now, here it is, 2010, and the headline in the UK's newspaper, The Daily Mail is"

"Mohammed is now the most popular name for baby boys ahead of Jack and Harry"

Now just think about that headline for a minute, Pardners. England, the birth home of my military bride, is one of the most traditional countries in the world. Children are named after the queen, the princes, and their Mums & Dads. Elizabeth, Diana, Olivia, Chloe for the girls. Jack, Harry, Alphie, and William for the boys.

But now, in the Europe of no borders, no passports, no immigration control........ the sign of the times....

"Mohammed has become the most popular name for newborn boys in Britain.

It shot up from third the previous year, overtaking Jack, which had topped the list for the past 14 years but was relegated to third spot."

"We'll just stay down here until we outnumber 'em", the young rabbit said!!
