Just in case you think American 'reality' TV couldn't get worse.....

.... they manage to make it much worse in Turkey.

A monk, a priest, an imam and a rabbi walk into a TV studio. The punch line? Each cleric gets the chance to convert an atheist to his religion on a new Turkish show slated for September.

Winners get a pilgrimage to the holy city of their new found religion: including Mecca, the Vatican, Jerusalem and Tibet.

Just think of the possibilities, we could have Jerry Seinfeld, Al Sharpton and the 'Catholic Nun' from the back channel each trying to convert members of their studio audience to their own religious persuasion. To add a little class, they could get Jerry Springer to moderate and Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell to judge who did the best job.

The possibilities are endless..... Where is Madeline Murray O'Hare when you need her.... RIP..... she could have done follow-ups trying to cleanse them of their new beliefs.
