Pick a Czar, any Czar at all........

Well Well, surprise, surprise. Obamanation is appointing another Czar! Let's see, I think we now have more 'Czars' sucking on the taxpayers teats than Imperial Russian had in 800 years!

But more about that later --- The WSJ reports today:

JUNE 5, 2009 White House Set to Appoint a Pay Czar

By DEBORAH SOLOMON

WASHINGTON -- The Obama administration plans to appoint a "Special Master for Compensation" to ensure that companies receiving federal bailout funds are abiding by executive-pay guidelines, according to people familiar with the matter.

The administration is expected to name Kenneth Feinberg, who oversaw the federal government's compensation fund for victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, to act as a pay czar for the Treasury Department, these people said.

Czar Feinberg apparently has mucho experience for this job --- he was the victim payout czar (with a small c) for the more than $7,000,000,000 paid out to 'victims', their families and friends who suffered from the Islamic terrorist attacks on 9-11. Obviously, any feller that can determine that one widow should get $2 million and yet another widower should get $650 thousand, will be able to figure out what all those private company executives should be paid.

I see a lot of folks scratchin' their heads and wondering out loud why we have to have a platoon of Czars in 'O's gob'mint. For the answer, Pilgrims, read Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution of the United States.

In there, it directs that all ambassadors, ministers (cabinet officials) and other high officers (generals) must be approved with the advice and consent of the U.S, Senate. They are fully vetted and interviewed by the appropriate Senate committees before 'consent' is granted.

Here is just one of many great sources for the constitution, book mark it!

Doesn't say anything in that section, that the Senate gets to offer advice and consent on 'Czars'...... nuff said?

If you don't have a personal copy of the Constitution, book mark it here on the Internet and check it out every now and then...... supposedly, it's the Policy Manual that kept this great country in good order for more than 200 years.
