Probably his largest list is the list of "Corps' he intends to create or enlarge. In addition to an expanded national service (at great cost) AmeriCorps and Peace Corps, he intends to create:
A Home Security Corps - hopefully not a new name for the New Black Panther Organization that worked the polls so well for him in Philadelphia.
A ClassRoom Corps - created ostensibly to help overworked classroom teachers - and we certainly hope not to provide an Obamanite political observer and advisor is every classroom.
A Health Corps - I'll wait to hear if they will do the surgical duties on Republicans.
Clean Energy Corps - perhaps to sniff the air and drop a dime on energy wasters? Turn in their neighbors, as it were!
A Veterans Corps -- I thought we already had a couple of those organizations - and doing very well without the largess of the taxpayers money. We call them VFW, AM VETS, & American Legion to name just three of three hundred.
A Senior Corps - just in case those seasoned citizens take it in their head to relax to their own devices.
And the scariest one of all:
Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by setting a goal that all middle school and high school students do 50 hours of community service a year and by developing a plan so that all college students who conduct 100 hours of community service receive a universal and fully refundable tax credit ensuring that the first $4,000 of their college education is completely free.

Putting aside that slavery and indentured servitude in the Country is illegal, and that's what mandatory government service would be -- look again at that $4000 tax credit for 100 hours per year of community service. Two hours a week. One day per month. $4000 tax credit the the little rich kids could spend on their spring break in the Bahamas instead of the common Florida or Texas beaches. Multiply $4000 times the number of college kids in this country and roll that number by our current deficit! Keep in mind a tax credit is not like a tax deduction -- it's a credit right off that 1040a bottom line.

Why does all this remind me of the 'collectivism' practiced in all the communist and socialist countries. Every thing is done in groups, from pre-K to retirement. Individualism is not only scorned at --- it is verboten!!!! My mind immediately reflects to those bland smiling little Chinese faces we saw by the thousands at the recent Olympics..... scary indeed.

Seems to me this country has done quite well encouraging individualism, enterprise, and volunteered cooperation ---- where is this all going?
Keep your eyes peeled - Pilgrims ...they'll be coming for you one of these days!
