Not a good week for our Nancy! Today she woke up to discover that a majority - a slim one, but still a majority - of CALIFORNIANS want to drill off our coasts! Oops@!
And this is taking place while Nancy - instead of taking care of the problems of the nation - (like $4 gasoline and all those other little things) is off on a two week tour to promote her brand new shiny book - "Know Your Power: A Message to America's Daughters" . Of course it would be a reasonable question to ask when exactly she found time to write it, but that would not be very generous of me! Having said all that, poor Nancy also woke today to discover that her
book - released last Tuesday - is currently sat at the impressive number of 1,610 on Amazon's bestseller list!Some of the books that are ahead of hers includes one of my favorite beach time reads - The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society book - released on the same day as Nancy's. And while the potato book has five full stars from its reviewers, poor Nancy is struggling with just a single star! ONE LONELY STAR!!
But it's not just new books beating Nancy's - try this one from 2005 - My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-Night Stands by Chelsea Handler. And Chelsea has four and a half stars too!
In case you are wondering, this story first came to light on Drudge and was very comically done on Glenn Beck this morning. It is funny - BUT - it is serious too.
And no mention made of the ginormous carbon footprints left by this ego-narcissists' tax payer financed, secret service protected, nation-wide tour to sell the lousy 5000 books that have been sold in two weeks of her peddlin, piddlin tour! Wonder if she bought any carbon offset credits from her fellow hustler, Gorebot?
I think if someone ran the numbers - the taxpayers would have saved millions if we'da just bought the damn 5000 books and she'da stayed home! Hmmm, by the way - I wonder if Chelsea, the author of 'My Horizontal Life' up there, that is outselling Pelosi, ever ran into Bubba or Love Lips?
