.... with it's current issue cover story about Cindy McCain. I read it, fully expecting the usual Newsweek slant, damning with faint praise..... trotting out little innuendos. But no!! It's a straightforward article sharing her strong points with her weaknesses. And they actually point out that there are damn few weaknesses.I was truly amazed by this woman's story - her goodness and her strength. She doesn't want to go to Washington like Hellary did, or as Michelle lusts after -- but she will go if her husband is elected President of this Country. And then return to Arizona just as fast as she can. Much the same attitude as Laura Bush -- true citizens interested in helping others in the role of First Lady, but not looking for permanent power or position..
The authors of our constitution would be proud of both Cindy and Laura! The article is too long to paste in here, but when you have a few minutes --- you ought to link to it and skim a few pages. You'll have a whole new perspective of this fine lady!
