Loose nuts with lawyers win again.....

"Unfortunately, Northwestern University is not able to do anything to mitigate the sun's effect on the vision of the pitcher, so we have made the unfortunate decision that we can no longer safely host these games."

Thus spake Scott Arey, assistant athletic director for facilities at Northwestern University when he announced that that local youth baseball league teams will not be allowed to use the university fields. The decision was made after the parents of one of the young pitchers filed a law suit against the University because when on the mound, depending on the time of day and cloud formations, that evil sun could shine into their child's eyes. And they were concerned for his health. Ole' Pecoz feels sorry for the University, for all the kids who will not get to play and even finds a little empathy for that poor young pitcher with the loose nut parents --- can you imagine how his team mates - as well as the rest of the league are treating him this week?
