RedState.com Points out double standards in political spear chuckin'...

How Cute
By Pejman Yousefzadeh

While the slightest Republican critique of a Democrat is decried as the greatest threat to democracy since I-don't-know-what, stuff like the following just gets laughed off:
Speaking before Clinton, Gov. Steve Beshear (D KY) had some fighting words of his own. He tied the plight of the national Democrats to local ones, having reclaimed the office from a Republican incumbent last year. He said Democrats were "problem solvers."

"I can think of only one Republican that could be a problem solver," he added. "And that is Vice President Cheney, if he would just take George on a hunting trip."

I won't hold my breath waiting for denunciations of so despicable a comment. But of course, if a Republican said something like this about a pair of Democrats, you could just imagine the outrage and fury.

Stretch your imagination Pilgrims - and suppose that a prominent Republican Governor was stupid enough to say something like 'Democrats could solve a lot of their problems if Hellary and Bubba would just take ole' Barack and hang him out to dry .... literally'.

Shucks, the entire nation would come down on him like ugly on an ape! The mainstream media would tar and feather him and roast him on a spit!

Do you hear any outcry about Kentucky's Democrat Governor Beshear's remarks? I din't think so!
