Turns out a couple of 'contract' employees at Department of State peeked into his passport folder when they had no business there. Keep in mind a 'contract' employee is an employee of a sub-contractor --- not the Dept of State. As soon as it was detected, they were fired and Obama was notified -- immediately -- not two years later.
So does Mr Obama voice his concern for the breach of security and his appreciation for the rapid response by the Dept of State? Does he wait to find out what the investigation turns up? Does he wonder out loud if perhaps these independent contractors might be fans of his current opponent - Ms Bubba Clinton --- she of the infamous White House FBI files scandal and cover up?
If you answered NO to all of these questions.... you aced the test Pardner! Instead, his spokesman immediately screamed;

Bill Burton, spokesman for Obama's presidential campaign, called the incidents "an outrageous breach of security and privacy." He said this is "a serious matter that merits a complete investigation," adding that the campaign will "demand to know who looked at Senator Obama's passport file, for what purpose, and why it took so long for them to reveal this security breach."
What a shame --- apparently, he is a knee jerk - political hack jerk like all the rest! Hopefully he will be only a forgettable memory in our rear view mirror this time next year!!!!

Inappropriate picture that has nothing to do with the story, although the word "liberal" does:
Calling for an investigation at our expense is just plain reckless with our money, we've been there, done that:

The disclosure of inappropriate passport inquiries recalled an incident in 1992, when a Republican political appointee at the State Department was demoted over a search of presidential candidate Bill Clinton's passport records. At the time he was challenging President George H.W. Bush.
The State Department's inspector general said the official had helped arrange the search in an attempt to find politically damaging information about Clinton, who had been rumored to have considered renouncing his citizenship to avoid the Vietnam War draft.
The State Department said the official, Steven Berry, had shown "serious lapses in judgment."
After a three-year, $2.2 million probe, a federal independent counsel exonerated officials in the incident, saying that while some of the actions investigated were "stupid, dumb and partisan," they were not criminal. The independent counsel also said that Berry and others who were disciplined for their involvement were treated unfairly.
The smoking gun:
Doug Hattaway, a spokesman for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, the former first lady who is challenging Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination, said of the current breach: "It's outrageous and the Bush administration has to get to the bottom of it."
The quick deflection shows motivation.
Anyone asked for Her Victimness' Tax returns lately?
