Which begs
the question.... 'Why are they called accidents?' . Someone did something wrong or there wouldn't have be a wreck --- yup, somebody had to do something wrong! One of the most glaring oxymoron's in the language is "no-fault accident' insurance. On an ugly morning do you hear the well coiffed talking heads commenting that the weather caused 42 accidents over night or during drive time? Face it folks ---weather does not cause accidents! People do! When folks was riding horses - how many 'accidents' do you reckon the rain or snow caused; "Why shucks Sheriff, I was just mosey'n' along and this durn fool just skidded his horse right into me and knocked us over!" I think not!

Those 43,000 dead bodies each year darned near equal all the KIA's in Vietnam!! We've been wringing our hands over those lost souls for over 40 years ---- you Pilgrims seen any hand wringing or newspaper headlines over those 43,000 folks made dead last year here in the US of A? I ain't neither! And we ain't even talking about the permanently wounded and scarred!
Folks, 43,000 corpses laid out head to toe, would stretch out along the highway for near 50 Miles!! Fifty Miles ---- ! And what do we get? DOT's that want to build more and faster roads. At least when two ton automobiles play bumper cars in congested traffic --- they just create 'fender benders', not coffin sales! I know this sounds a little strange --- but at least think about it --- and question why no one raises hell about it --- like they do about the occasional gun shooting or airplane crash -- or Iraq or Afghanistan!
9/11 caused 3000 unneeded and undeserved deaths. Last year thirteen times that many died on our highways in 'no fault' deaths. Which did you read and hear most about???
What do you think Buckaroos?
