What's worse than being a President with.....

.....an approval rating down to just over 30%? What's worse... is being a member of Congress where your home town constituents rate you at only a little over 20%!! I reckon if two out of three folks across this entire nation were unhappy with my work -- as apparently they are with 'Easy' George, I wouldn't be too damn proud of myself. But if I were a Senator representing only one state or a Representative from only one congressional district, I'd hide my head in shame if I was told that four out of every five constituents didn't like the way I was performing!
The sad fact is, come election day, folks forget all this and go into those booths lookin' for a familiar name and just pull the damned lever! I don't care what folks say, there ought to be a "VSAT" every October where voter wannabe's had to pass a test to show they know what they are doing. I can forgive true believers that vote for the 'other guy', but I got no warm feelin's for those who just vote in uncaring ignorance.....
Hmmm, maybe we're into something here --- maybe we ought to make all the wannabe candidates for public office go on that program of Jeff Foxworthy's, and let us all see if they are "Smarter than a Fifth Grader!"... Bet that would open some eyes!!!
