Looks like the biddin' war has started.....

.... first Shrillary made the trek to suck up to the Breck Gal, and now Obama has made the pilgrimage. I reckon it's the first time since he was told he was gonna lose his Senate seat that anybody has paid any nevermind to Edwards, so he's really playin' the role! From the Belfast Telegraph:

US presidential hopeful Barack Obama has met with his one time challenger John Edwards.

Edwards has yet to make an endorsement in the race for the Democratic nomination.

A spokesman for Obama would not comment on the possibility of an endorsement for Mr. Obama who is in a very close race with Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination for the White House.

Since Mr Edwards quit the Democratic race, Mr Obama has often praised him in public.

Now just in case any of you Pilgrims are still naive enough to think that Ex-Senator John Edwards is just tryin' to figure out which of these two candidates would be best for the country, you better put down that funny stuff you are smokin' and be wonderin' who is gonna offer the best deal to the man with money and no legacy.
Right now all he has been is a successful trial attorney that got rich 'channeling' his dead son to juries, a one term senator. and a failed vice president nominee. Now he can add failed seeker of his parties nomination for president to his resume!
Ole' Pecoz reckon's he'd like to add some kind a cabinet secretary office or ambassador title to his name, you know, some office he don't have to get elected to have. Lord knows... hell, even Johnny knows, neither candidate is gonna offer him Veep status on their ticket!
