Presiding over the United Nations Security Council this month is that stalwart supporter of democracy and peace in the world.......LIBYA !! That's right buckeroos, the Qaddafi ranch, home of the Lockerbie airplane downing...... Libya now speaks for the world with regards to world security. First things first..... Security Council chief opposes sanctions against Iran

United Nations (KUNA) – A Libyan who took over as president of the UN Security Council on Thursday said his country will not support further sanctions on Iran for its nuclear program.

“I do not wish to speak in a final manner on my government’s position in the event there is a plan to impose further sanctions on Iran. But as a country that has suffered from sanctions, we would be definitely in a difficult position when sanctions are proposed,” Libya’s envoy to UN, Jadallah Al-Talhi, told a press conference on Thursday in New York.

Now ain't that a kick in the head! Ole' Muarmmer hisself is now leading all us sinners in the world on the road to peace and salvation. Shame ole' Stalin and Idi Amin aren't still around, they could serve as co-chairs of the UN Food for Peace Program. Adolf hisself could preside over settling the problems in the Middle East ......
