Just a quick word on polls.....

..... and then we'll let that ole' dog lie until next weeks primary in New Hampshire!
I posted the poll predictions of the Des Moines Register (local paper), CNN and Zogby yesterday. I appears that the local paper is the only folks that know how their voters are gonna vote, and they were only close - not right! Results are:
Dem- 1. Obama 2. Edwards 3. Clinton
Rep - 1. Huckabee 2. Romney 3. Thompson/McCain

Des Moines Register predicted (see below for all these)
Dem- 1. Obama e. Clinton 3. Edwards
Rep- 1. Huckabee 2. Romney 3. Mccain

CNN Poll:
Dem- 1. Clinton 2. Obama 3. Edwards
Rep- 1. Romney 2. Huckabee 3. Thompson

Zogby Poll:
Dem- 1. Clinton 2. Obama 3. Edwards
Rep- 1. Huckabee 2. Romney 3. McCain

Kinda makes ya' think that these pollsters maybe push the numbers to the way they'd like them to be instead of the way they are. Seems like they'd save a lotta money and effort if they would just sit in their little biased ivory towers and predict their hopes instead of goin' out and going through the motions of polling folks.
I'll be anxious to see how these pollsters predict next weeks results.... but I'll let it rest over the weekend!
