"Al Gore savaged the US government’s “obstructing” attitude and urged dele
gates at the UN conference on climate change to ignore Washington if necessary to pursue the “moral imperative” of a new global regime.
“My country is principally responsible for obstructing progress here in Bali,” the former US vice-president told 2,000 of the 12,000 people attending the conference on Thursday. “[But] over the next two years the United States is going to be somewhere it is not now.”

Guess Ole' Al Gorebot can't remember that he was Vice President of the United States and President of the United States Senate when they voted 95-0 (that's unanimous, folks) AGAINST signing the Kyoto Treaty. Yours truly can't remember his sayin' an ugly word about that vote...can you?
Course, he wasn't a national loser riding the big buck trail of the carbon footprint money machine scam then either, was he? When this dance is over, the Iraq/UN Oil for Food scandal is gonna look like chump change theft. Merely billions! Somebody ought to tell 'em that his Senator Daddy is dead and can't pat him on his little prep schoolboy head anymore....
If Ole' Pecoz sounds a little perturbed about this particular speach, it's 'cause I am old fashioned enough to think that pissants like him and Jimmah and Bubba ought to follow the American Tradition; "Politics end at the waters edge"! As a former VEEP of this great country, he has no bidness goin' over there and givin' this speech!
