Pete Rose is still striking out...

How Pete Rose ever managed to steal so many bases and score so many runs with one foot in his mouth I'll never know. Even at the age of 66, he still doesn't get it! Speaking before a group of eight and nine year old baseball players, their parents and staff, Rose used every profanity normally restricted to the locker room after a loss. He lamented in four letter words that Marge Schott, the Reds owner, didn't leave him any money, he admonished the kids that if they come in second place.... they are losers! The next time I hear some rosie cheeked, good haired sportscaster opine that Rose should be in the Hall of Fame for his play...despite his gambling. I'll substitute Hall of SHAME and nod in agreement.
