Hillary, 'Ban public smoking nationwide'!

That's not an exact quote of her words, but that was her message while speaking at a recent cancer forum. At stated by the NY Post;

August 28, 2007 -- WASHINGTON - Hillary Clinton lavished praise on New York City's tough anti-smoking laws yesterday - and said she supports smoking bans in public places across the country.
Asked at an Iowa forum on cancer whether banning smoking in public places would be good for America, Clinton replied, "Well, personally, I think so. And that's what a lot of local communities and states are starting to do."

Now don't misunderstand me - I am a reformed smoker who has been 'clean' for 12 years now. I quit for health reasons but now am glad I did for dollar reasons --- Egad, they are expensive now! When I started in the Air Force, Pall Malls were $1.00 per CARTON! Now with all the sin taxes piled on they cost five bucks a pack! Lord have mercy... is that a 5,000 per cent increase? Kind of makes me wonder what our state and federal government are going to do if all the smokers follow their warnings and quit! Whoa Nellie - talk about a tax stream drying up.

I am just against gov'mint, especially the federal gov'mint dictating personal life styles. Putting it another way --- I don't want to be in her village and don't want her runnin' mine!!
