Where did they point their wrath? Why at those rascally radio talk show hosts who dared share what was going on behind Oz's curtain with the great unwashed public. The new rallying cry on Capital Hill? FAIRNESS DOCTRINE - FAIRNESS DOCTRINE! Keeping in mind that fairness to the permanent class on capital hill means, "Its our way or the highway!" By resurrecting the Fairness Doctrine of the pre-Re
agan days -- every side to every issue would have to be given equal time on the air on every program. The liberal talk shows have no problem with this, hell they would probably pick up listeners, 'cause there sure ain't anyone listening now to them now. Just ask the bankrupt Air America that was to be the liberal voice of America.

Like so many such incidents, wiser heads prevailed for the minute, and the congressional movement has been slowed. But then, as liberals often do, what they can't win in the ballot box or in the court of public opinion, they try to steal in the courts.
The first salvo will be fired tomorrow in that bastion of political freedom - the San Francisco City Hall. The Board of Supervisors will be asked to vote on a Resolution of Condemnation by Gerardo Sandaval, one of their own. The Resolution is aimed at radio talk show host Michael Savage - his sin..... speaking out against the City using taxpayers money to pay for green cards and other benefits for ILLEGAL ALIENS! Oh the shame of it all.

No lesser a light than nationally known civil rights attorney Daniel Horowitz has offered his services to defend Michael Savage. If this ever becomes a court case and it finds for the City Board of Supervisors, you can expect to see a host of these actions across the country. If they can't win inside the beltway, they'll go to their sainted pools to make their mark. 'Scuse me, should I have said "tainted pools"?
As they say in talk radio - stay tuned!! It's gonna be a long time until we hear the Fatlady sing the closing notes to this tune...
