Near as I can manage to see, gov'mint has spent about $112 Billion dollars -- no wait, that is too innocuous, let me rephrase; the Feds have spent more than $112,000,000,000 of your tax dollars on hurricane clean-up!This figure of your tax dollars does not include the additional billions of dollars that have been spent by charitable agencies, the multi-billions of dollar paid out in claims by insurance companies. And yet what do we see? Progress and rebuilding and recovery in those states and communities led by conservative politicians. And a continued quagmire of hand wringing, hands out for more, and finger shaking by the liberal politicians of Louisiana and New Orleans.

Shucks, they could build a monster apartment house by just gluing those $112,000,000,000 one dollar bills together! When you watch all the photo ops these next couple of days ---- think how high a pile of one dollar bills would be, and what a small -tiny - wee little bit of that pile was replaced by your individual hard earned taxes last year!
